After being cooped up at home for so long, we went to LA over Memorial Day weekend without a plan. Oh how I’ve missed wandering around somewhere new. We stumbled upon the Sherman Library and Gardens on a drive one day. Out of all the places I’ve visited in the world, this seriously ranks in the top 10. The grounds were stunning.

I’d describe myself as a plant enthusiast with an eye for beauty that has yet to develop a green thumb. I’ve been turning out side yard into a garden and if my ideas could manifest, it would turn out looking like this place. This garden was seriously the stuff of dreams. And, oh. my. DAHLIAS!
